Karen S. Miller

Karen S. Miller was born and raised in the Miami Valley and continues to reside in the Miami Valley with her three children. Ms. Miller received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Management with a concentration in Personnel and Labor Relations from Wright State University in 1991. Ms. Miller graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law receiving her Juris Doctorate in 1999. She was admitted to the Ohio Bar in May of 2000 and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio in June of 2007.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Miller worked for the United States Postal Service and served as a Union Steward for the American Postal Workers Union. As a union steward, Ms. Miller represented hundreds of postal employees in disciplinary matters, working conditions and wage disputes. When the postal service unilaterally changed the work hours of hundreds of employees to avoid paying wage premiums; Ms. Miller was instrumental in winning employees hundreds of thousands of dollars in back pay. Ms. Miller gained experience as a Labor Representative on the management side of the table when she worked at Delphi.

After spending five years with LexisNexis, Ms. Miller practiced law as a sole practitioner until she joined Brezine Law Offices in 2007. Ms. Miller currently represents clients all over the Dayton area, including Fairborn, Xenia, Springfield, Kettering, Centerville, Vandalia, Tipp City, Huber Heights, Wilmington, and many other areas around the Greater Miami Valley. Ms. Miller is also an experienced Arbitrator and Mediator.
